Thanks for the answer. Should I try and appeal then?

The version you uploaded is of a lower resolution (1146x2048 versus 2260x4041), so it may be considered an "inferior" version. Thus, I don't believe it's worthwhile appealing.

post #9021209 (only 4 approvers looked at it on an appeal)

post #8995732 why it fail appeal? Got a comment on the appeal:
"The status of the artist's other works has no bearing on whether this one is approved." Ok sure but what's the issue with the image? huge breasts and gigantic breasts art being unapproved for anatomical reasons feels weak here especially considering the volume of this artists art that is posted by contributors that is comparable. I think it's fair to say.

What Contributors choose to upload has no bearing on what Approvers choose to approve.

I'm aware. But what's the limiting factors here if we cant compare to what is already up? I'd have preferred a critique of the art itself.

Only an approver can really give feedback on the art itself, but builders and contributors can still pop in with useful advice since the approvers are often too busy to reply with anything useful. As for your new question, the two tags you want to be mindful of are 'approver:any' and 'status:deleted'. Adding the first tag will show you only posts that have gone through the modqueue and been approved, while the second will show you posts that have failed to be approved. That's not a guarantee though, and you should also pay attention to timestamps (how recently was it approved), how many different approvers have approved art by that artist, whether you're uploading E/Q art by an artist with only S/G approvals, etc.

And even with all of that, sometimes it's just not to anyone's taste despite being on-topic an high quality.
