If you're not 100% sure, you can always do what I do and translate it anyway, tag it with "check translation," and hope moonspeaker stumbles upon it. >.>

Turns out, it's usually either right or close enough.

Danbooru policy is a bad translation is worse than no translation, of course, but if you at least have some idea of what you're doing, it's a start.

She's essentially warning the protagonist that holding her will be dangerous, as she tosses and turns in her sleep.

I do know what I'm doing, but my grasp of Japanese is not perfect. I'm confident in small-scale translations, but if I can't make good sense of something, I tend to leave it alone and call for help. As you can see, I didn't touch this one because there were some nuances that I couldn't quite grasp.

I guess saying "translate anyway and then tag it ololo" is over-simplifying my process. What I should have said is, start small, do translate things you know you got right, and use that experience to work your way up, and if you get partway through and get stuck, call for help with that tag we mentioned.

I can say the same from me.
