Finally got a response. The user believes that yarinikui ("hard to fight/beat") is a pun on niku ("meat/beef"), since both Ryuujou and Hoppo are eating beef bowls. I appreciate receiving the explanation, though I'm not totally convinced that's the artist's intent. I'll leave it to others to decide if it seems that way and the post merits re-adding to the "Clever" pool.
