My bad then...
In sports those signs are usually represented in the next fashion:
O Win △ Draw X Loss
...And it keeps the same meaning in Japan aswell (as anime/mangas like Captain Tsubasa have proven for instance)... So I just pretty much assumed it could potentially mean the same in this case.
