How strong is Graf? She just stopped a punch from a BB
Normally cv has more horsepower than bb For example for cv Graf got 200k shaft and zuikaku got 160k shaft. for bb nagato is 80k shaft ,yamato is around 150k shaft and for gangut it is only 42k shaft
So Gangut will be that one racist grandma character?
Well, you can't really call the one who hates the ones who affiliated with enemy which attacked your own country in the past the "racist". It's more about the unpleasant memories.

Didn't Nazi Germany kinda betray USSR tho?
They are Axis at first but then the Nazis suddenly tried to pull a blitzkrieg on USSR?

Well, yes and no. USSR never really supported Nazi Germany at the beginning stages of the WWII (there was a lot of political grudges, and Hitler was clearly hostile to USSR), so there was never the Axis between them - they're only concluded the neutrality pact (known as the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact) between them, so the only things that they done together was the partition of the Poland territory (and that wasn't joint military action). And that pact, like all other treaties, was torn by Germany since its attack on the territory of the USSR.
Even Mama carrier can't stop them. The only ones left that have a chance are, Hibiki (fellow Russian-ish), Bismarck(sank before the invasion of Russia, but it was definitely in planning), and Kongou (next oldest and Burning Love specialist). (off chance the Admiral, but seriously who listens to him.) - well there is also Yamato or Musashi, but that's be brute force stopping.
But to be fair to them both, Gangut was bombed a lot during her days near Leningrad. One of her sisterships was wrecked by German bombers and they never really fixed her. A third was sacrificed prior to the invasion and used during the siege of Leningrad. The fourth spent her days evading being bombing in the Black Sea.
And Graf was scuttled having never been able to use her planes against the Soviets as possibly planned. Than raised and captured as prize by the Soviets at the end of the war and used as a target ship in 1947. The Poles found her wreck this century.
Gangut's personality is kinda weird in this comic...she has a grudge against her former nazi foes but she doesn't care much about the fact that the very country she fought for has perished?
Dayum a carrier single handedly stopped a battleship punch.
Gangut is the Babushka of the fleet, and Graf is probably the strongest engine power they have. She was designed for 35 knots. I think only Iowa and Midway-class tops the horsepower of Graf Zeppelin. It should be noted that USS New Jersey (BB-62) is the record holder for fastest battleship in the world, having recorded a speed of 35.2 knots (65.2 kph) during her shakedown cruise in 1968. For six hours. (Guinness World Record).

Looking at the bio for the ship, she saw the fall of Czars and the rise of Communism. Governments come and go, but Russia endures.

It's more like Nazi Germany decided to betray them first. The USSR wasn't rapidly expanding it's military and gobbling up chunks of neighboring countries at the time of the invasion out of self defense. It's a pretty classic case of two villains teaming up for a while with both planning to inevitably betray each other later. It's really only a question of who does it first. Honestly they were both equally terrible and the fact one had to survive the confrontation really is unfortunate.
About the only difference between them was that the USSR murder millions for political and ideological reasons while the Nazis killed millions over racial and ethnic ones.
Last launched , and last commissioned. She may be the nameship of the class, but she's technically the youngest. They were all laid down at the same time, though.

"Russia" the tsarist nation and the USSR has fallen, but "Russia" the land, culture, and people continue on.
You could likewise take someone from a nation like France or China (or basically anywhere there wasn't a mass influx of immigrants, I.E. the United States) from a few hundred years ago, and the dynasties they may have followed may have collapsed to see the next dynasty collapse, and the whole system of government change, but the people they'd still feel closest to would be the one descended from the people that lived there in their own era.

It actually makes perfect sense. Many Russian citizens did, and in many cases still do, not have much love for the Soviet Union but they still utterly despise the Nazis for what they did to Russia (and the nationalities the Russians view as "little brothers" like Ukrainians, Belorussians, and other Eastern Slavs). The two were never quite one and the same...
Nagato-san, stop them!Warspite-san!WARSPITE-SAAAAN!Please stop fighting!!And what is the meaning of this farce?Perhaps I should have my Stuka Corps do some dive-bombing practice.Oh, I just knew that guttural flapping was you, сука!The situation in Europe is strange and mysterious...Makes you want to resign en masse.DESTROY THE FASCIST!!Well, what a coincidence, Ivan!Wouldn't it be just fine to leave them be for a spell? The comrades inside my memories are all murmuring to me - I really wonder what was that Non-aggression Pact all about...They certainly took care of my little sister, those...
Probably Petropavlovsk/Marat, which was sunk by a Stuka. The devil that lives on in my memory is just champing at the bit to see you eat some bombs!
