Feel like the explosion of Gustav munition is somewhat few. The only blew off is only around its hit spot and no further explosion, it's like a meteor hit the earth not like an explosive warhead hit a surface. Or am I wrong about Gustav munition?

Low or High? Excuse me, the explosive always cause very wide area that's why it was invented. But low collateral damage is sound not like an explosive born to be thought.

Huh. I always thought warhead ammunition was the only way to go with artillery weapons. I'd figure solid armor-piercing ammunition or soft core shells would be ineffective with a gun that big, since long-range bombardments can easily miss by a few dozen meters even with good aim.
That said, hitting a Ark right on the brow with an artillery bombardment is one heck of a shot. She didn't stand a chance!

Went to Wikipedia over it, just to have a quick look: Gustav there did in fact have AP rounds. They weighed 7100 kg and had a maximum range of , with a range of 38km. Pretty sure they're what the Gustav used at Sevastopol to pierce 10m of concrete that itself was under 30m of water.
So yeah, HE for general use, but every now and then AP would come in handy.

Yes it is. Bismarck and Ark are only fighting because Kashima found Prinz's secret Bisko photos, and neither Bisko nor Prinz would have ever planned that part out. They also would have had no idea ahead of time that she'd need to shell a rotating sushi place because the British ships would suddenly decide to all hang out at a rotating sushi bar with the Soviets because of some argument of the authenticity of sushi.
