I always kinda liked the look of those helms. A very periodic piece of gear, as it's one of the last types of metal armor still manufactured during the early part of the fire and sword style warfare. Before the 1600s where melee tactics began to become obsolete and footsoldiers stopped using armor all together.
I'm a bit soft for gunpowder fantasy styles, and I wish Fable 2 and 3 made use of it instead of going straight for the 1700s and 1800s. It's hard to find good media for the genre.
