Now I remember. The same railway gun that the Kriegsmarine girls took back from the Europe Event as a souvenir.

Yamato just happy she was useful in the situation is all. I bet you could keep her content if you gave her a paper route.

It was used by Prinz Eugen for a surgical strike against Ark Royal in #2904176

"Overkill" is not a word that exists in German language.

And the Germans crashed the party with some sharp British intelligence!

There is no "overkill". There is only "open fire" and "reload".

To cite Guderian: "Nicht kleckern, sondern klotzen!"

It's fine, it's fine, I've learned this from RPGs! If you load them with rubber bullets, then even supersonic projectiles only deal concussion damage which will knock characters out but never kill them no matter how much concussion damage exceeds HP!

This may not be the place to ask this question, but: How did the Japanese language came up with the word "IGIRISU/IGRIS", (instead of "INGURANDO") when refering to England?

It's from the Portuguese for England, "Inglez"; many foreign words in Japanese come from non-English origins, particularly pre-Meiji. The Portuguese were one of the first foreigners to not only come, but stay in Japan (particularly missionaries), and thus introduced many foreign words into Japanese - and thus the Portuguese versions became the standard.

Similar words are /pan/ 'bread', from the Portuguese "pão", /anke-to/ 'survey/questionnaire/' from the French "enquête" and /arubaito/ 'part-time job' from the German "arbeit".

The largest battleship ever built, said to be a symbol of the invincibility of the Japanese Emire...

And her only actual battle against other ships ended with her being chased off by a bunch of tin cans.

Girl's gotta have some self-esteem issues.

    Step
    80 cm Special Practice Round
A feat possible with a shipgirl's fire control system!
I handed over the info to the German ships too, and tasked them with some investigation!
Since you seemed to be at a disadvantage there, I provided you with an intervention.
Yamato... you shielded me, didn't you? Thank you.
    Looks like you're fine there.
When it comes to support, there are better ways, right?
That saved your hides, did it not?
    Could just now have been...
    An 80cm Railway Gun!
It was a perfect shot, no?
    Ja!
    BISMARCK!?
It would be quite the bother if you too fell into Zuiunism, no?
    hyoip!
    ENGLAND!!
    Yes. Very.
    Was Yamato useful!?
    Iowa-san, are you okay?
