Well, it wasn't exactly a tough call to make, but there it is. And we even have Idomiral thinking of the white-haired evil admiral when she asks him if the next admiral is likely to treat them like tools. So Idomiral knew what kind of guy he was even this early.

Its sad that this also kinda reminds me of kantai collections decline in playerbase. For me the community doing works like these keeps me interested, but ive seen artists lose interest in their kantai collection series because they lost interest in the game as well.

As far as I can recall (and from a cursory glance at the archives) evil white-haired admiral is given no designation beyond "Vice-Admiral".

Given how the Black Kashima/Katori/Kirishima arc ended, he's unlikely to get any more screentime until Ido sees fit to revisit the epic arc. Which may be some time, since the bread and butter of this series is slice-of-life kanmusu shenanigans.

I'm not sure if this is a misunderstanding, but I believe Admiral_Shippai is referring to the bookworm/caterpillar-like creature in the next-to-last panel.
