Not sure if this a good place to ask this but is any policy for/against scans from artbooks? I'm trying to upload the rest of this little series (six pictures left) but I'm unsure if that's against the rule or not.
I don't believe there is any rules or policies against scans. Just like anything else they have to stand up on their own artistically and doesn't break any other guidelines or rules.
One thing of note though is that extremely large file sizes do tend to detract somewhat toward an image getting approval.

Or in my case getting sent back into the mod queue. Well thank you for answering my question now, I'll probably hold back on uploading the rest until I believe they could stand up on their own.
This doujin is just too fucking huge. I mean, who does have a 4284 x 3019 screen to enjoy the full potential? Like, two or three of all Danbooru users.
Why then do I have to wait half an hour to open the whole thing, if I'm going to see it resized to 1:5 anyway?
Absurdres is a nice thing, but if we are talking doujins, it's pretty much useless.

I don't know, why'd you turn that option on in the first place? My account -> settings -> turn on server side samples and automatic image resizing.
Poof! This 9.7 meg doujin page is actually only 165kb!
But even better, I can still download the 9.7 mb version if I want to print it and varnish it into my wall so I can use it at night without tarnishing it.
