I know she made an amazing entrance as well but you have to admit when you scroll down and see the elbow of Meiling breaking thru the barrier in her amazing dress you have to admit it catches your eye first and fast.

Sakuya's entrance was good... Meiling's was better. The difference: showmanship.

Meiling scraped her elbow on the barrier it seems, just to add to the awesomeness.

Yes i suspect this man is so awesome that he shall be able to solve the problem with such grace that i shall be stunned for quiet some time.... that or meling will solve it with her epicness... you make the call

It looks like Sakuya threw knives to weaken the barrier in a particular area, but it was Meiling who broke it down.

I found Sakuya's contribution pretty eye-catching too though. The first team was helplessly breaking spears against the barrier just earlier. Suddenly, it's being perforated by knives as if it were cardboard.

I find a werewolf (presumed) wielding a silver spear to be rather amusing

Well the shaft is wood so a silver spear would be the same to it as a normal spear would be to a human. Aka the pointy end hurts.

well yes I know, its the idea of it that I find funny, like he's some sort of mercenary or cop, something that would require him to carry around silver weapons. there really wouldn't be any reason for him to use one otherwise since he cant actually touch it if he has to make repairs on the shaft,etc

The author is good. Real good.

When you think about it, it is logical to use silver weapons as it is effective against most creatures. (civil wars?)
And I imagine they go to Nitori for any maintenance.

Which is all said and good. however, Sakuya still needed Meiling to do the finishing touch. So we can just say, they both win.

Yeah, I'm not implying that one's better than the other. Seeing either in action would have been cool enough, but having them work together as a team amplifies the awesomeness.

Actually looking at the damage to her elbow, Meling was attacking the barrier before Sakuya weakened it with her knives.

Now that I think of it, somehow has to be the one to say it...

More like that there were so many barriers down the hallway that by that particular one, Meiling was beginning to sustain a little injury from so much bashing.

"Sit on your hands and stare" is one grandma-friendly equivalent of the expression I'm sure we both thought of, "sit around with your thumb up your ass". Still not exactly appropriate for this situation, though.

Actually, silver was never mentioned as a werewolf's weakness until the 20th century.
