I have nothing against art made by AI, it is inevitable that there will be more of it, but what we don't want is millions of very mediocre AI artworks uploaded for no good reason other than the uploaders whims and impulses. For now, there are only 85 AI-generated works on Danbooru and a catastrophe has been avoided so far. I think that only the best of the best should be uploaded. Otherwise, most of Danbooru will become AI-generated "art". And also, it is clear that some of the paintings were heavily influenced by particular artists, because of using a particular prompts.

That shouldn't be any more of a problem than it is currently provided moderators adhere to Danbooru's standards. Uploaders will learn what is and isn't acceptable and most of the mediocrity will be filtered out over time. I'd be more concerned that moderators would be intrinsically biased against it. Some of these images are already stoking ire in users and mods alike.
