I think she's not really addressing some single "Great One" here. She's down at the bottom of the social hierarchy here, and "erai hito" can just mean someone higher up than you, the people with power who make the decisions. O-rin doesn't really know much about how the world works, she just knows there are people out there far greater than her, and she's begging for one of them to help her.

That's a statement about bigshots in general, though, which is a little different from addressing someone. But it really doesn't matter in this case whether it's plural or not.

No, it's Satori's. You can see it in the previous panel, too, hidden by the sound effect, and it's positioned the same as her hand is in the first panel.
Could it be that Orin is just monotheistic? She could just be praying to the God she believes in. Or the Dragon God, who resembles (the Western) God the most of all Gensokyan beings.
I guess it should also be pointed out that O-rin is specifically praying to a PERSON here, not a god. At least that's the word she uses. Like I said earlier, I think it's because she's just a cat and doesn't really know much about how the world works, she just knows there's people with more power than her.
(And if you ask me, there was nobody who helped her, it was all just her own determination. But we'll see if Karaagetarou decides to take that thread any furhter in the future parts.)
