I try to understand how having these heavy accessories will train their arms haha.

The weighted accessories would strengthen their necks (like wearing night vision goggles), but not so much their arms.

I wonder why Momogaa wears an eyepatch to begin with. My best guess is some sort of eye dominance thing.

Pretty sure it's a chuunibyou thing. That's most often the case on younger characters with eye patches, especially young girls who can see with both eyes. Plus it'd very much fit with the theme of Anteater team's quirks.
