the song logical by Olivia Rodrigo reminds me of this drama rn. Mafumafu doesn’t deserve her, since he had a traumatic childhood which makes this situation worse. Mikenekos so insane.
So, if I understand this whole saga: Rushia/Mikeneko got fired after she accidently showed some of her DMs on a stream and her viewers figured out she was married IRL. At the time, she had a lot of people's sympathy, as she was seen as the victim of an industry that made unfair demands of its performers. But now, her husband is divorcing her and alleging she was abusive to him.
So, did she ever start working as a VTuber under a different name? Is she going to get cancelled twice?

First of all, she was fired for sharing confidential messages to a third party to get them to calm her raging fans and got terminated for the NDA breach, she was never assumed to be the victim other than by people who just need an excuse to hate on Cover Corp. The company even defended her when her rabid simps were raging about her supposed relationship. For your question, she returned to her mikeneko persona after getting the boot and later joined VShoujo as Amemiya Nazuna for a while.

Ah. Perhaps I got her mixed up with some other VTuber drama.
The thing is her true personality got exposed and we now know what kind of person she truly is. Furthermore, what we recently learned of her makes a lot of past events make sense.
The woman is a sociopath. She has never demonstrated any true empathy for others.
It doesn't mean anyone needs to erase the past, though.

You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain.
Nah not really, because most people are not surprised if a vtuber is this horrifyingly evil, and kinda expecting this sort of person appear in this community sooner or later. Aren't vtubers themselves the people who cultivates the culture of degeneracy? no need to pretend that you nor they didn't see this coming.
You have an unnecessarily bleak and cynical outlook on vtubers and other humans in general.
