No. The more depressed or sad she becomes, the more the eye opens. That could also explain why Satori's eye is open all the time as well

Koishi's power is to destroy people's minds right? So I think as Koishi slowly open her eyes, our mind is slowly destroyed. Imagine as if you are the one looking at the eye and slowly losing your minds

Actually, her power is to read and manipulate the subconscious -- but this only developed because her eye was closed. I'm not sure how to interpret this comic though. Maybe because her eye reopens, the Koishi we've all come to know no fades out of existence to be replaced by a different personality?
