Some of these, most notably Daiyousei, just seem wrong. Others, like Alice or Patchy, would look okay, if not for their feminine clothing. Yuyuko, Yukari, Koakuma and Suika look goddamn badass, and Rin is making me gender confused.

Yup, half of them still look somewhat feminine or like a short-haired version of themselves, but I gotta say I liked Ran and Satori there.

I think it's the clothes, most of them have the same get-up and gimmicks, rather than any sort of opposite gender equivalents. Yuyuko particularly stands out to me as just looking weird.
