Nightbird is a sentient female ninja or kunoichi giant robot designed by a Japanesescientist who was inspired by the autobot designs. In the original cartoon she is silent and never utters a word.
In the original cartoon she does not possess variable geometry and thus can't transform, though later incarnations of Nightbird are typically given a Cybertronian origin, allowing her to transform. In Rise of the Beasts, her vehicle mode is a R33Nissan Skyline GT-R.
