An internet meme from the movie 300. A quote said by the character Leonidas I, the King of Sparta, just before kicking a Persian messenger down a well.
In the scene it originated from, a Persian messenger asks King Leonidas for a tribute of earth and water, as a token of Sparta's submission to Persia. In response, Leonidas draws his sword and points it at the messenger and forces the messenger toward the ledge of a deep well. The messenger tells Leonidas "That this is blasphemy. This is madness!" To which Leonidas responds with "Madness? This is Sparta!" and kicks the Persian messenger into the well.
