ohmu

A species of giant bugs from the film and manga Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa by Miyazaki Hayao. Adults have huge segmented bodies with many legs and many hemispherical eyes (which are normally blue but turn red when they are angry). They can extrude tentacles/feelers from their mouth.
