bycocket

A hat with a long brim that tapers into a sharp point, much like a bird's beak. Sometimes adorned with a hat feather.

In modern culture it is most associated with Robin Hood. Historically, the hat was unisex, and popular in Western Europe from the 13th to the 16th century.
