French: Northern Cross, a cross-shaped asterism making the main body of the Cygnus constellation.

Japanese racehorse. Sired by Kitasan Black and foaled by Rising Cross. A brown (near-black) colt with a sock on his back right leg.

Teamed with Kitamura Yuuichi, he is famous for winning the 2024 Hopeful Stakes and the 2025 Japanese Derby.

In the context of Umamusume, aside from the usual father-son pairing, he is heavily associated with Chrono Genesis due to her RL counterpart sharing the same main jockey, trainer, and owner.
