eye banner (trend)

Trend where artists draw a close-up of a characters eyes in typically a 3:1 aspect ratio to fit Twitter's default banner size.

The origin of the trend is unknown but knol (flowrmosh)'s tweet is one of the earliest to inspire others to try, particularly amongst the League Of Legends community.
