Upotte's portrayal of the L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle (referred to as the FAL L1A1 in Upotte!!).

FAL, called "Farru" is tall, brown haired, modestly confident (perhaps cocky) and wears a tan blazer and long, shin length skirt. She acts as the big sister to the protagonist FNC ("Funco") and is acquaintances and classmates with M14 and G3 ("jiisuri"). M14, G3 and FAL are all members of the "big three" battle rifles, 7.62 NATO chambered weapons used as their host country's main service rifle and exported to other places. FAL is proud of her position among these rifles and many of her mannerisms reflect this.
