Playable character in FINAL FANTASY V. Pirate captain bearing a familial bond with Syldra.

When first met, Faris is impersonating a male captain; "his" true gender is learned by Bartz, Galuf, and Lenna accidentally, shortly after Faris joins the party. Faris's real name is Sarisa Scherwil Tycoon, and she is Lenna's long-lost elder sister, though neither she nor Lenna are initially aware of this.

In her younger appearance, she initially uses a generic young girl sprite that has her in a red-pink dress tied in pink short twintails with pink hairbands. The Pixel Remaster used a unique palette that restored her purple hair and put her in a blue-purple dress with green hairbands. The Mobile sprite has her appear in her adult attire in a pixie cut.
