    ff gradient

A style of gradient best known for its use in the various final_fantasy logos. A gradient that is internally 'flat' (meaning not a lot of fancy shading and highlighting) and almost always moves in 'rainbow' order (red-orange-yellow-green-blue-purple-red).

Usually applies to only one object in the foreground of the scene, which is greatly contrasted with the rest of the scene. Typically uses unnatural colors for whatever is being portrayed.
