finger counting

A hand gesture where a character indicates a number with their fingers raised. Some artists use this for countdowns, anniversaries, and milestone celebrations.

Common gestures

• Zero: ok sign (with one hand) or circle hands (with two hands)
• One: index finger raised or thumbs up
• Two: v
• Three: w or middle w
• Four: number four (with one hand) or double v (with two hands)
• Five: open hand (with one hand) or v plus w (with two hands)
• Eight: double number four or open hand + w
• Ten: open hands
