folding knife
A knife with a blade that folds into the handle, also known as a pocketknife, jackknives, EDC knife, and maybe penknife, though that may be a specific kind of folding knofe. There are thousands of variations in the industry, with handle materials ranging from composite to wood to carbon fiber to titanium, and blades made from various types of steel. A typical blade length is 5 to 15 centimeters (2 to 6 in).
