A character from the Paper Mario series, he is a Spike who is a major antagonist in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

Grubba is a retired champion wrestler who is currently a fight promoter at the Glitz Pit, along with his manager Jolene. It is later revealed that he possesses the Gold Star, which he has been using to drain other fighters' strength, including Prince Mush. After becoming the champion, Mario confronts Grubba and defeats his enhanced form, Macho Grubba, to obtain the Star.

Grubba is depicted as a blue Spike with orange hair, large orange lips and a purple shell. He wears a black fedora, sunglasses, a black jacket, green vest and a red bowtie.
