halo framing
The symbolic framing of an image to make a character appear as if they have a halo without an actual halo being present. Often done through having a light source behind the head. Almost always the subject in question would be unaware that this is happening.
This does not include, actual halos, fake halos, mechanical halos, painted halos, and light sources behind the head not framed in a way to resemble a halo.
