The protagonist of Dragon Quest XI. A young man who is known to be the Luminary, a legendary hero who can save the world. He is imprisoned and accused of being the harbinger of evil, prompting his quest.
For the sake of convenience, his default name is "Eleven". He can also be refered to as the Luminary.
By the end, he's given the title of Roto/Erdrick, the implication being that his game is a distant prequel to Dragon Quest III, although how distant (or if there is any connection at all) is debatable.
Him, along with the heroes of III, IV, and VIII, were chosen to be fighters on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's first fighters pass. They are collectively Fighter #72, with Eleven as the "face".
