hishi akebono (umamusume)
Umamusume character. Resident tall girl of the series and American-born returnee.
Horse girl. Has long brown hair done in twintails with white hair ribbons. Also has red eyes and a single bobble 'ear' tie worn on her right ear.
Her original ("prototype") racing outfit resembles a school uniform with a double-breasted sailor-collared blazer and a miniskirt.
Her current racing outfit consists of a colorful and stylized pastry double-breasted chef uniform with an apron with donut and candy motif and boots of different colors, the right one being chocolate cookie-themed and the left one being strawberry shortcake-themed. The ear bobble is moved to the right twintail and a mini hat is there instead.
Akebono's most salient trait is her massive height at 180 cm (5' 11''). As such she is frequently depicted towering above other characters, both in canon and fanart. Fanart tend to pair her with the some of the shortest characters (e.g. Nishino Flower) to further highlight this disparity. Her special ability also involves growing into a donut-giving giantess, playing further more with her size.
Akebono has a big-hearted, boisterous, friendly personality, with a love of food and treating other people to food. She is also a manic fan of sumo wrestling. Her catchphrase is buono (a play on her name), the Italian word meaning "good" or "delicious".
