The titular Kamen Rider of Kamen Rider Super-1, into whom the protagonist Oki Kazuya transforms.

Kazuya aspires of going into outer space. To achieve his dream, he volunteers to undergo surgery to be made into an astronaut that can survive in space without the need of bulky space suits. The operation is a success and he is codenamed "Super-1".

The Dogma Kingdom attacks the launch base before Kazuya is sent up into space, leaving him as the sole survivor. Bent on avenging his colleagues, he returns to Japan to begin training that allows him to transform into Kamen Rider Super-1.

Super-1 is primarily colored silver and black, with a red scarf. His design is based on a hornet.

His most distinctive feature is his “Five Hands.” He can freely switch between five sets of arms, each with different characteristics, as needed.

• Super Hands: These are silver arms with fringe, and Super-1 is most often seen wearing them. They are specialized for hand-to-hand combat.
• Power Hands: These are red arms specialized for superhuman strength. They can lift heavy objects or crush an enemy’s head.
• ReiNetsu Hands (Cold-Heat Hands): These are green arms. His right hand can emit super-high-temperature flames, while his left hand can spray super-low-temperature cryogenic gas.
• Ereki Hands (Electric Hands): These are blue arms. He can fire “Ereki Beam (Electro Beam)”—high-voltage electric currents in the form of beams—from his fingertips. They can also be used as an emergency power source.
• Radar Hands: These are golden arms. It is equipped with a small rocket called the “Radar Eye” that carries a radar system. By launching it into the sky, it can detect the surrounding situation and display the results on the PPI scope mounted on the back of the hand. The Radar Eye can also be repurposed as an attack missile.
