Azur Lane's and World of Warships personification of the South Dakota Battleship Dreadnought (1920). This design was later improved from the South Dakota 1920 Super Dreadnoughts; they were paused due to the Battle of Jutland and cancelled few years later.

Kansas is the continued what-if scenario if they continued to create more powerful battleships by 1944 alongside the Colorado-class battleships. The South Dakota class dreadnoughts are the successors of the Colorado-class battleships, surpassing them with a speed of 23 knots. Coming with a Vermont style Acceleration system, she carried triple 406mm mounts and a very advanced anti-air suite for her time.
