nontan (nontan to issho)

The protagonist of an eponymous series of children's picture books written by Kiyono Sachiko (キヨノサチコ).

An anime series Nontan to Issho ran from 1992 to 1994 on Fuji TV's children's program Ugo Ugo Ruuga. Another anime series titled Genki Genki Nontan, made in CGI animation, also aired on Kids Station from 2002 to 2006.
