pac-man (game)
A classic, influential and very popular Japanese arcade video game designed by Iwatani Toru, published by Namco and first released in Japan on May 22, 1980.
In 1982, Atari Inc. of America released the first game console version of the game for its Atari 2600 console. It received bad reviews, but nevertheless, managed to become the best selling Atari 2600 game of all time; it sold an estimated 7 million copies, and was considered the best-selling home video game of all time when it was released
