priest (age of empires)

A unit in the Age of Empires I strategy game that can heal friendly units and convert enemy ones. He has the appearance of an elderly man with balding white hair tied in a low ponytail, wearing white robes with sashes of the player's color, and wielding a shepherd's crook.

This unit's infamous ability to convert enemies is the source of the Wololo meme, named after the chant that it repeats during the conversion process.

This unit was replaced by the Monk in the sequel game Age of Empires II.
