ryona

A fetish about women being subjected to extreme pain, injury, or physical abuse, particularly as a form of eroticized sadism or humiliation. The word ryona is a combination of the Japanese words ryouki ("seeking the bizarre") and onani ("masturbation").

Often focuses on pained facial expressions, bruises, blood from the mouth or nose, etc. Wrestling and mixed-sex combat are common scenarios.

Not to be confused with guro, which is more graphic, or mere abuse, although some scenarios may overlap. Applies exclusively to women. For men, see reverse ryona.
