Kantai Collection's personification of the USS Scamp, hull number SS-277, sixty-sixth of seventy-seven Gato-class submarines of the United States Navy.
She has long grey hair with side ponytail, black hair ribbon and star hair ornament and grey eyes. She wear a aqua garrison cap, black highleg competition swimsuit, white gloves, torn white short shorts, and black rudder footwear.
Scamp's personality is somewhat synonymous with what her name denotes: Impish and a little sexual. No thanks to her history, however, she is averse to kaiboukan, especially Kaiboukan No. 4.
She is the first ever American and Allied submarine in the game as well as the first foreign submarine who never became part of the IJN. As with all American submarines during WWII, she is named after a marine creature, in her case a species of grouper fish.
