Selene (Japanese: Mizuki) is the protagonist female Trainer from Alola in Pokemon Sun and Moon and Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. See Elio for the male protagonist.
This highly curious and easygoing Trainer is friendly with everyone and quite easy to get along with. She doesn't worry about the little things and tends to act on instinct.
She is never directly named in the core games. Selene is the most commonly used name used for this character, including in promotional materials for Sun and Moon and in Pokemon Masters EX. Promotional materials also refer to her as Moon, and promotional materials for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon refer to her as Ailey (Japanese: Koumi).
Her Pokemon Adventures counterpart is Moon.
