Takahashi Keisuke's car of choice, an early type yellow FD3S Mazda RX-7, registration Gunma 37, 63-887 (or Akagi 33, 8-301 in the Legend continuity). It has a Mazdaspeed rear wing and is tuned to produce 350 hp. The car is decorated with a RedSuns sticker.

The car is overhauled twice as the series goes on; first, it is modified with a Mazdaspeed A-Spec Package full body kit, Mazdaspeed rims, and the RedSuns sticker is removed; later, it is completely remodeled with an RE Amemiya full-aero body kit and rear wing, and its headlights replaced with fixed units, and lastly a carbon hood, after Keisuke was involved in an accident where he slipped on an oil slick left on the track by his future opponents, causing major damage to the car.
