The first Transformers series in the Unicron Trilogy. It introduced the concept of minicons to the franchise and was followed by Transformers Energon.

The Japanese title is Transformers Micron Densetsu.

In 2023, Armada reaches its 20th Anniversary. In Transformers Legacy (toyline), Armada is known to be Armada Universe (アルマダユニバース in Japan) and still a part of Unicron Trilogy.
