yoshida shouyou
A character from Gintama, modeled after Yoshida Shouin.
The teacher at the dojo Sakata Gintoki, Katsura Kotarou, and Takasugi Shinsuke all attended when they were younger. Mentor and father figure to all three.
He is voiced by Yamadera Kouichi.
He is decapitated during the Joi War by Gintoki himself, but turns out to be immortal and survives as Utsuro. The identity of "Yoshida Shouyou" is not his true self.
