I use the +/- links all the time for searches. For me it is pretty inconvenient trying to find images and narrow down searches without them; they were one of the features that makes Danbooru smoother than other sites to use. It would be really appreciated if they were added back, or at least made available as an option from settings.

+1 for making it a feature you can toggle for QoL reasons.

You can put -tag_name in the search box though. I get that many people are upset about this change, but c'mon, it's not the end of the world

Just because there are workarounds doesn't mean it isn't a shit change. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The justifications for removal are weak, and clearly many people used it. No change in my time has gotten this much backlash. I can type `-tag` just fine, but it's more of a headache than pressing a - link, especially on longer tags.

Of course, I'm not denying it. I used this rather frequently.

I've got my hand on my dick most of the time. I don't want to copy the tag, then reach over to my keyboard just to hit "-", and then paste the tag when I was able to do that with a single mouse click before.
Went to use + link to search, gone, went to settings to try to find it, nothing, came here to find out why it was bugging out for me, discovered it was removed entirely :(. I hope you'll reconsider. I can see why it'd only be a small percentage, because once I used it to zero in on the search I wanted all searches after would use that until the next new search. But the stats there don't show the smoothness value and spontaneity in having it.
