I put it in the pool because the trailer of a new event in Pokemas was only revealed today. You could obtain a Sightseer named Naomi as the event reward (becoming the first trainer class to do so). Ash (Journeys version) is also just recently added to the game.

I only just discovered that Naomi's Japanese voice actress is the same as Serena's in the anime. Thanks @Gigawatt5 for adding the voice_actor_connection tag.
