IMO, I think there should be a difference between men crossdressing with the standard female outfit, and an "adapted for men" outfit with a vest, suspenders, etc. like post #3623630. The latter should be a separate tag and the former should be the same tag as the standard female outfit (with crossdressing, otoko no ko, etc. added where appropriate).
I wouldn't call that "adapted", that's just a standard waiter outfit with a pair of bunny ears.
First pass at cleaning up bunny girl. The first one moves bunny girls who aren't Playboy bunnies to rabbit girl. The second removes bunny girl from Playboy bunnies who don't have real rabbit ears. Bunny girl will still need a lot of manual gardening after this.
EDIT: This bulk update request is pending automatic rejection in 5 days.
Bunnysuit is unclear. Does it mean the leotard itself or the outfit as a whole? I argue it should be the outfit as a whole. Sometimes nontraditional Playboy bunny outfits like post #4000764, post #3953120, or post #2950119 don't get tagged because people think bunnysuit means the leotard, not the whole outfit.
If rabbit girl / rabbit boy are gonna be the norm for rabbit features, the bunny ears, bunny tail and the bunny tag itself would need to be aliased to rabbit ears, rabbit tail and rabbit respectively, for consistency with other tags (such as fox girl, fox ears, fox tail for example).

This, if we are gonna change the tag we should keep consistency.
I would argue that bunnysuit has become an universal word to refer to an outfit consist of a set of fake bunny_ears head wear, a high leg leotard that is open for chest and back, covering breasts while showing the cleavage with or without stockings. And while most designs are stem from Playboy's initial design, the variety has evolved way bigger than its status as a Playboy's outfit.
However, I understand the need to clarify the actual nature of the outfit.
And on a different point just like with the definition of maid, do we take a dress with apron as a maid uniform or do we have to include a maid headress? Without the headdress, some iterations of outfit for kirisame marisa or soviet school uniform would also be included as a uniform for maid when they clearly are not. Thus, I completely agree with counting a outfit that fits bunny suit when it has a pair of bunny ears.
These two BUR requests are very important so we can deal with this whole rabbit people vs. bunnysuit mess, and start gardening and working on their wikis properly.
Also, it would be advisable to update BUR #3162 to use "rename" command instead of "mass update" (bunny_boy and bunnyboy).

I don't disagree with that. Calling it bunny ears is like calling it kitty ears or doggo ears. We're just doing it because it sounds cuter.

I think many people still equate bunnysuit with the leotard itself. Which means that cases where the character is wearing everything but the leotard don't get tagged. This can happen when a character is partially nude, or when the artist takes creative liberties with the outfit, for example by using a swimsuit instead of leotard.

There's no rule about which parts of a maid uniform must be present in order to tag something as maid. In particular, it's very common for characters to not have a maid headdress or a maid apron and still be tagged as maid. Playboy bunnies should be treated the same way. The standard outfit has a lot of common pieces - fake bunny ears, a black strapless leotard, fishnet pantyhose, a bunny tail, wrist cuffs, a detached collar with a bowtie, and high heels - but no single piece is mandatory. For any one of these things, I could find an example where it's not present and you can still tell it's a Playboy bunny outfit.
Black may be standard, but even IRL, other colors have been used (red being also common).
While we're in the subject, I think there should be a "non-traditional Playboy Bunny" tag for outfits that are still "bunny suits" but do not necessarily conform to the standard, even sometimes stylized, like "Swimsuit Ruler" Artoria or those depicted in Granblue Fantasy (post #2604875 and post #2562720 for example). Posts with kittysuit and playboy bunny leotard can also fall under such as a tag as long as other appropriate tags are applied. This can be done on a case-to-case basis of course.

Nonamethanks has suggested "unconventional_bunnysuit" before which sound good to me.
Now about the bunny girl tag, I'm starting some gardening replacing the tag with rabbit girl for female bunny people, while just taking out the tag from bunnysuit/playboy bunny posts. I just wanted to confirm, it's going to become a disambiguation page eventually, right?

I'm seeing a good number of posts where playboy bunny and male playboy bunny are being used together for a single male character, so I wanna ask, is it valid/okay?
