    asa no ha (pattern)

    麻の葉

    Asa no ha (lit. "hemp leaves") is a traditional Japanese pattern resembling overlapping six-pointed stars (hexagram), referred to in mathematics as the triakis triangular tiling. See the left side of post #136039 for a clear example.
