Family Computer Robot (Japanese), Robotic Operating Buddy (R.O.B.) (English)

An accessory for the Famicom/NES. He also appears in Mario Kart DS and Super Smash Bros. as a playable character. Other cameo appearances include Kirby's Dream Land 3, the WarioWare series, and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

In Japan, the accessory is known as the Famicom Robot (shortened to simply "Robot" for his Mario Kart and Super Smash. Bros. appearances).

2channel denizens often use his ascii art for this nonsensical meme phrase: 奇蹟のカーニバル 開 幕 だ (Miracle carnival is starting N O W)
