keep calm and carry on

A motivational poster by the British government, which was to raise the morale of the British public during World War II if their cities were attacked by German forces. Although the Blitz did happen, it was rarely distributed.

It was rediscovered in 2000 at Barter Books in Alnwick, and since then, it has become a famous poster, influencing counless parodies.
