Handheld games system from Nintendo released in February 2011. Successor to the Nintendo DS.
New features include an autostereoscopic 3D upper screen, 360 degree analog slide pad, 3D-capable camera, telescopic stylus among other upgrades.
What distinguishes Nintendo 3DS from Nintendo DS(i)
- The upper screen is 16:9 ratio, wider than the lower screen
- The circle pad above the D-pad
- A pair of rear cameras are at the top center
- The front camera is above the upper screen (except for New Nintendo 2DS XL)
